The Gatekeeper View is a specially developed feature in LiteLog that allows real-time monitoring at entrances or gatehouses to see which individuals are checking in or out.
It supports reception staff, security services, and operators by enabling immediate identity verification and visual confirmation of check-ins.

The Gatekeeper View works best with a permanently installed NFC scanner. This allows check-ins to be captured automatically and displayed live. As a result, check-ins can be recorded automatically and visually confirmed immediately.

Purpose of the Gatekeeper View
The Gatekeeper View is typically used at gatehouses, receptions, or security centers. It enables:
- Live display of all current check-in and check-out activities
- Visual identity verification through profile picture, name, and status
- Immediate detection of incorrect operation or misuse of NFC tags
- A clear overview of all currently present individuals
Structure of the Gatekeeper View
1. Live list of present individuals
On the right side of the Gatekeeper View, the following information is displayed:
- full name
- optional stored person ID
- current presence status
- time of last check-in or check-out
2. Detail section of the most recently checked-in person
In the central area, the most recently checked-in person is displayed prominently, including the following information:
- profile picture
- name
- current status
- date and time of the last check-in
This allows immediate verification that the person at the entrance matches the person shown in LiteLog.
Interaction with a permanently installed NFC scanner
With an NFC terminal, the process works fully automatically:
- A person holds their NFC tag or chip against the terminal.
- The check-in is transmitted to LiteLog in real time.
- The Gatekeeper View updates automatically.
- The person appears clearly visible with picture, name, and status.
This feature is especially useful in areas where it must be precisely tracked who is currently in the building or on the premises — e.g., residential facilities, companies, care facilities, construction sites, or public authorities.
Evacuation List from the Gatekeeper View
In the Gatekeeper View, there is a button for the evacuation list located at the top right.
It displays all currently present individuals and allows viewing, printing, and exporting.

Opening the Gatekeeper View – Step-by-Step
- Log in to the LiteLog portal.
- Navigate to Attendance in the main menu.
- Click on Gatekeeper View.
- The live view opens and displays all relevant information.
If a permanently installed NFC terminal is used, ensure it is correctly connected so that check-ins appear automatically.
