Hello, how can we help you?

Method: Attendance via NFC Terminal (Fixed Device)

The permanently installed NFC device enables a particularly simple and reliable way to record attendance — completely without a smartphone. Instead, people use an NFC chip such as a key fob or card.

How does this method work?

  • An NFC device is permanently mounted and operates via Wi-Fi and power

  • Individuals hold their NFC chip against the device

  • Attendance is instantly registered in LiteLog

  • Check-in, break, and check-out are possible (depending on settings)

Who is this method suitable for?

This method is ideal for:

    • Entrance areas

    • Residential areas (care facilities, shared housing, assisted living)

    • Club buildings

    • Workshops

    • Companies where smartphones are not allowed or impractical

    • People without smartphones (residents, seniors, children, visitors)

How do I change the attendance method?

You can find the full step-by-step guide here: Change attendance method.

Gatekeeper View

For even better visibility, this method can be ideally combined with the Gatekeeper View.
All check-ins from the NFC device are displayed in real time – including profile picture, name, and attendance status.
