Work Days

Under Time → Times → Work days you see three figures side by side for every employee and calendar day:

ColumnMeaning
TargetContractual working time of the weekday from the work schedule. On days with an approved absence the absence chip (holiday, sickness) replaces the target. Without a schedule the column stays empty
PlanSum of the shifts assigned to the person on that day in the duty roster. A shift counts entirely on its start day (property time zone)
ActualRecorded working time of the day from the entries; an entry counts on its start day (account time zone). Running entries count up to now
Start / End / BreakFirst start, last end and break total of the day's entries. If the last entry ends after midnight, +1 follows the time (next day). "running" means at least one entry is still open
DifferenceActual minus plan; without a planned shift actual minus target (the basis is shown in the tooltip). Coloured from ±15 minutes: less red, more orange. A past day with a planned shift but no entry shows the grey chip No entry instead of a negative time; with only a contract target and no shift it shows Not planned (a planning gap). Today and later the cell stays empty because the day is still running. Without an entry, actual, start, end and break stay empty

A row appears as soon as one of these exists on a day: a target above 0, an absence, a planned shift or a recorded time. Someone who was planned but did not work therefore appears with actual "—".

Filters and period

The period sits on the left of the page header, just like in the roster: ‹ › step by the length of the window, Today jumps to today. The default is a single day; you can only step forward up to today. The filter bar opens via the funnel and offers person, property and period (at most 62 days) — the period sets the navigator's window. "Reset filters" only appears when something differs from the default. The question mark next to it opens this page. The property filter applies to plan and actual, not to the target: the contract belongs to the person, not to the property. The table is paginated; rows are sorted by day (newest first) and name.

Export

The Export button in the page header queues an export as CSV or PDF; the file appears under My exports. It covers exactly the visible window (period, person, property) with the columns person, date, absence, target, plan, actual, start, end, break, difference plan and difference target. Durations use HH:MM:SS like every export, differences carry a sign. You need the permission Export time tracking.

Typical workflows

Weekly close before payroll

  1. Set the period to the week to be settled, pick the person.
  2. Check rows with the chip No entry or a red Difference: if an entry is missing, add it under Entries. Not planned means a contract target without a shift — the planning is missing, not the time.
  3. Then confirm the entries.

Plan versus reality

A grey dash under Actual next to a filled Plan means: the shift was planned, but no time was recorded. Operations shows the same case with the "Record time" chip.

:::info Requirement The page needs View others' time tracking (or Edit time tracking), because it names hours of arbitrary colleagues. :::
