Kiosk Check-in
The kiosk is a public display page that you can set up on any device with a browser at your location — tablet, room PC, laptop, or existing screen. No additional hardware purchase is required. Employees can see their scheduled shifts and check in or out by scanning a QR code. No login is required.

Overview
The kiosk home screen shows all scheduled shifts as clear cards. Each card displays the name, time, and current status. Tap a card to open the detail view.
Detail view with QR code
The detail view shows a large QR code that employees can scan with their smartphone to check in or out. A progress bar shows how much time remains for the check-in or check-out.
Automatic shift switching
The kiosk automatically switches between shifts so the most relevant shift is always shown in the foreground. You can also switch manually at any time.
Full-screen mode
Use the full-screen button to display the kiosk in full-screen mode — ideal for tablets and screens at entrance areas.
Custom logo and greeting
The kiosk shows your company logo and a custom greeting, if these have been set up in the kiosk settings.
Clock with time zone
The header displays a real-time clock that automatically uses the time zone of your location.
Good to know
- QR code rotation: The QR code changes automatically about every 60 seconds. During the switch, both the old and new codes are valid briefly — so a scan cannot fail because the code just changed.
- Shift display: The kiosk shows shifts that take place within the next 48 hours. If specific requirements have been assigned to the kiosk, only those are shown. Without an assignment, all active shifts of the property are displayed.
- Automatic refresh: The shift list refreshes every 60 seconds by default. You can adjust the interval in the kiosk settings.
- Connection issues: If the connection to the server is lost, the kiosk shows a safe default view. Refreshing pauses after three failed attempts and resumes automatically once the connection is restored.
- No login needed: The kiosk is publicly accessible. Employees check in by scanning the QR code with their own smartphone login.
- Kiosk not visible? For the kiosk section to appear in the property, Kiosk (dynamic QR) must be enabled as a check-in or check-out method. Navigation: Properties → Select property → "Time Tracking" tab → "Check-in Settings" section → Enable "Kiosk (dynamic QR)" method.
