# Scan Employee Badge

On this screen, you can assign NFC chip cards to employees. Employees can then check in contactlessly via NFC at kiosks or through the app. You can access this view through the Admin tab.

## Features at a Glance

### Employee List

All employees are displayed in a searchable list. You can filter by:

- **All Employees** — Complete list
- **Without Badge** — Only employees who do not yet have an NFC chip assigned

### Assign Badge

Select an employee and hold the NFC chip near your smartphone. The assignment takes effect immediately.

## Good to Know

:::tip Note
An NFC chip can only be assigned to one employee at a time. If you assign an already assigned badge to another employee, the previous assignment is automatically removed.

## Permissions

:::info Permission
To assign employee badges, you need the **View employees** permission.
Contact your administrator if you do not have access.
