Tasks in the App
In the LiteLog app, your employees view and complete tasks on the go — including checklist, photo proof, and offline mode. Tasks are created and analyzed in the web portal's Tasks & Rounds workspace.
Features at a Glance
Viewing Tasks
Your upcoming tasks appear in the task feed right on the dashboard — together with the planned rounds. In addition, you see the tasks of the currently selected property in its property view. Overdue tasks are marked accordingly.
Opening the Detail View
Tapping a task opens the detail view with title, description, due date, priority, assignment, and attachments — the same information as in the detail view in the portal.
Checking Off the Checklist
If the task contains a checklist, you check off the individual items directly in the app. The progress becomes visible to everyone as soon as the change is synchronized.
Completing with a Photo
Use the complete button to finish the task. If photo proof is required for the task, the photo capture opens when completing — the photo is taken live with the camera; choosing from the gallery is not possible. Without a photo, the task cannot be completed. The photo is stored with the task and is visible in the portal.
Completing Offline
Tasks can be checked off and completed without an internet connection. Changes are stored locally and synchronized automatically as soon as a connection is available again.
:::info Offline availability Offline, the task list is only available for the most recently used properties. Open a property once while connected so that its tasks are also available offline. :::

- Tasks bound to a checkpoint or round appear while scanning during the round — see Perform Route.
- New tasks and changes from the portal appear in the app automatically after the next synchronization. :::
Permissions
:::info Permission To see tasks in the app, you need the View tasks permission; to complete them, the Complete tasks permission. Contact your administrator if you do not have access. :::
