Incidents (Property)

On this tab, you enable and configure incident reporting for the selected property. Employees can then create incidents (occurrences, damage, notes) at this property via the mobile app.

Navigation: Master Data → Properties → select a property → panel entry "Incidents" (group "Modules")

Incidents (Property)

What Is This View For?

This tab is the property-level configuration of the incident feature — it controls whether and under which rules incidents can be recorded at this property at all. It is deliberately not a list of incidents: you view and process the actual recorded incidents across all properties in the Reports area.

Specifically, you set two things here:

  1. whether the incident feature is visible/active for this property in the app, and
  2. whether incidents may only be created directly on site (via GPS geofence).

Configuration

The Configuration section contains an expandable Incidents card with two toggles:

ToggleEffect
Location lock"Allows actions only within a defined property area using the GPS coordinates of the user's device." When active, the phone must be inside the property's geofence via GPS when creating an incident.
Incidents"Visible to users in the app." The feature's main switch: if it is off, the incident feature does not appear in the app for this property and no incidents can be created.

If the feature is disabled, the tab shows an activation card instead of the configuration, through which you first switch Incidents on for the property.

Good to Know

:::tip Note

  • Incidents can contain photos, a text description, and a GPS location (optionally also a checkpoint reference).
  • Incidents recorded during a round automatically appear in the timeline of the round log (provided the time and property match the round).
  • To get notified about new incidents, set up an automation rule with the trigger "Incident created" — either account-wide in the Automation area or per property under Automation (Property).
  • Incidents are kept if the reporting employee is later deleted (only the employee reference is removed). When the property is deleted, however, its incidents are deleted with it. :::
