Team Chat (Property)
The team chat is the group room of a property in the inbox: all employees assigned to the property can write there together — in the portal and in the mobile app. On this tab, you control whether the room exists for this property and jump straight into it.
Navigation: Master Data → Properties → select a property → panel entry "Team Chat" (group "Team")
Features
- "Open team chat in inbox" — opens this property's group room in the inbox (only appears when the module is enabled).
- Module switch "Team Chat" — switches the property group room on or off. When switching off, the portal asks for confirmation; the property entry point then disappears, while an existing room and its history remain in the inbox of its current participants.
If the module is disabled, the tab shows an activation card.
Good to Know
:::tip Note
- The team chat is off by default and is deliberately enabled per property.
- Participants are the active employees assigned to the property; new assignments are added as participants automatically when the room is opened. Anyone who loses the assignment remains a participant so the history is preserved — there is no separate member management per room.
- Direct messages between individuals run independently in the inbox; this switch only affects the property group room. :::
