1. Personal Language Settings in the Portal
Each portal user can define the language for their own account. This setting only affects the currently logged-in user.
1.1 Change the Language for Your Own Account
- Open the LiteLog Portal.
- Go to Settings > My Profile.
- Select your preferred language in the Language field.
- Click Save.
Effects:
- The portal user interface will be displayed in the selected language.
- System emails (e.g., password reset) will be sent in this language when possible.
- Reports specifically sent to this user can be generated in this language.
2. Set the Language for Individual Persons
In addition to your own LiteLog language settings, you can define which language the Portal and Mobile App should use for each person. This is particularly useful for multilingual teams.
2.1 Set the Language When Creating a New Person
- Open the Persons section.
- Click Create New Person.
- Switch to the Permissions tab.
- Assign Portal Access and/or App Access as needed.
- Once access is assigned, a language select field appears where you can choose the language for this person.
The person will see the Portal and the Mobile App in the selected language.
2.2 Change the Language for an Existing Person
- Open Persons in the portal.
- Select the desired person (edit).
- Switch to the Permissions tab.
- Adjust the Language in the language select field.
- Click Save.
The new language will take effect the next time the person logs into the Portal or restarts the LiteLog Mobile App.
