NFC Reader
The NFC reader allows you to scan NFC tags and QR codes to identify checkpoints or employee badges. You can access the NFC reader through the Admin tab.

Features at a Glance
Scan NFC Tag
Hold your smartphone near an NFC tag to read it. The app immediately shows you whether the tag is assigned to a checkpoint or an employee.
- iOS: Tap "Scan" and hold the smartphone near the tag
- Android: NFC tags are automatically detected in the background
Scan QR Code
Alternatively, you can scan a QR code using the camera. This is useful when no NFC tag is available or the device does not support NFC.
Offline Recognition
The app checks the local database first. Only if the tag is not found locally does it query the server. This way, recognition works even without an internet connection.
Permissions
:::info Permission To use the NFC reader, you need the View checkpoints permission. Contact your administrator if you do not have access. :::
