My Shift & Report Sick

With assignment planning, employees see their own staffing directly in the LiteLog app: which shift is up today, what the week looks like — and if you cannot make it, the sick report is two taps away.

:::info In the app These features are only available in the mobile app. In the web portal, managers plan the staffing in Planning and decide on reports under Time → Absences. :::

Widget "My shift today"

The dashboard shows the "My shift today" widget as soon as you are planned as staffing for a shift today:

  • Each row is a shift with property, time window, and status.
  • Tapping a row activates the shift's property as your active property — you can start right away with tours, tasks, or time tracking at that property.
  • With material read permission, the widget additionally shows whether material is below minimum stock at the shift's property — take supplies along right away.
  • The header link "This week" opens My schedule.
  • The quick action "Report sick" appears as long as none of your own reports is awaiting confirmation.
  • Offline, the widget shows the last known state with a timestamp ("As of HH:mm").

Without shifts for today (and without a matching offline state), the widget stays hidden.

My schedule

You reach "My schedule" via the "This week" link in the widget or at any time via More → Personal → "My schedule" — including on days without a shift of your own, when the widget stays hidden. The view lists your own shifts of the current week, grouped by day — with property, time window, and status. It is a read-only view of your personal weekly planning; you do not see other people's shifts here. Offline, the list shows the last state with a timestamp.

Report sick

You reach the self-report via More → Personal → "Report sick" or via the quick action in the widget:

  1. Choose a type — Sick or Child sick.
  2. Choose a date range — "From" and optionally "Until"; for a single day, "One day only" is enough.
  3. Optionally add a note (only visible to your supervisors).
  4. Tap "Report sick".

The report then appears under "My reports" with its status:

StatusMeaning
Awaiting confirmationThe report is with the managers under Time → Absences
ConfirmedThe absence is approved
RejectedThe report was rejected — talk to your supervisors

While a report is awaiting confirmation, a second one cannot be submitted. You are notified about the decision — the automation rule "Sick report decided", which ships active, takes care of that (adjustable under Automation).

Good to know

:::tip Note

  • The widget and "My schedule" require the View time tracking permission; "Report sick" is available to every signed-in employee.
  • The absence type of your report is only visible to yourself and to approvers — everyone else only sees "Absent".
  • An internet connection is required to submit a sick report. :::
