Areas and Points (Property)
A property's points (NFC chips, QR codes, zones, web check-in) are grouped into areas — floors, building parts or outdoor facilities, for example. Each area has its own page with three sections: the points of the area in their order, the tasks at these points and the incidents reported there.
Navigation: Master Data → Properties → select a property → group "Areas" in the property menu → choose an area
The first entry "All control points" always lists every point of the property; points that are not assigned to an area are listed under "No area".
Points
Each row shows the point with its state, type and use:
| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| State | ● active, ○ inactive (the app reported the chip as unreadable). |
| Name | Name of the point, e.g. "Garage entrance". |
| Type | Derived from the point: Zone (geofence), NFC (chip connected), QR (code only) or Web (web check-in without the app). |
| Use | Clocking (time tracking), Round (checkpoint) or Tasks (task point) — one use per point. |
On the right of the row you download the QR code or archive the point. Clicking the row opens the point sheet.
Order
Within an area (and under "No area") you drag points by the handle on the left into the desired order. The order applies in lists, in the round editor and in the app. Depending on the tenant policy the portal asks for a change reason before saving. Under "All control points" the list cannot be sorted; web check-in points have no order.
Point sheet
The point sheet (right side panel, also reachable via the link ?point=<ID>) shows:
- Area — change the assignment; the point moves to the end of the new area.
- Type — display only.
- Use — switchable for round and task points. When switching away from "Round", attached tasks are kept; if the point is part of a round template, the system rejects the change.
- Codes — QR code as PNG, printout as PDF. Web check-in points offer QR code, NFC link and link as well as "Regenerate code" (all printed codes of this point become invalid).
- Edit in full — opens the checkpoint editor with map, GPS radius, photo and task bindings.
- Task at this point — creates a task with this point as binding.
- Archive — the point moves to the recycle bin of the points management and can be restored there.
Area menu
Via ⋮ next to the area name:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Rename | New name of the area (concrete areas only). |
| Create point here | Opens the create form with the area preset. |
| All codes as PDF | Printout with the QR codes of all scan points of the area (zones excluded). |
| Sort areas | Opens "Manage areas": create, rename, sort, delete. |
| Delete area | The points only lose their assignment and show up under "No area" afterwards. |
Tasks at these points
Compact list of the tasks bound to a point of this area (title, point, due date or series start). A click opens the task; "+ Task" creates a new task with the property preset.
Incidents
The latest incidents reported at points of this area (text, point, time, reporter). A click opens the report.
Manage all points
Map, GPS capture, photos, copying from other properties and the recycle bin remain in the points management under Set Up Rounds; the link "Manage all points" at the end of the points list leads there.
