Edit Route
On this page you edit an existing route (a route template). The wizard is identical to the one for creating — basic data, scheduling with rounds (time window + frequency) and recurrence/holiday rule, checkpoints with optional order binding. All fields and options are described there; here only the differences.
Differences from Creating
Step 4 — Date Change
When editing, a fourth step is added: you choose whether the changes take effect immediately or from a future date. With "Immediately", the existing route is fully replaced; with "From a date", the old version remains active until the chosen date and the new one takes over afterward — so no log history is lost.
Unsaved Changes Guard
Unsaved changes are automatically detected. If you try to leave the page, you will be warned first. Use the "Discard changes" button in the header to return to the last saved state at any time.
Good to Know
:::tip Note
- Whether the route is paused on holidays, runs only on holidays, or is treated normally is controlled by the template's holiday rule (Scheduling step). The property settings only maintain the holiday list itself.
- The planned route appointments are automatically created for the next 5 days. The calendar preview updates after every change. :::
Permissions
:::info Permission To edit a route, you need the permissions Edit preset round settings and View preset round settings. Contact your administrator if you do not have access. :::
