Create Route

On this page you create a new route for a property. The wizard is identical to the editing view and guides you step by step through the configuration.

Multi-Step Wizard​

The creation wizard guides you through three steps:

  1. Basic Data — Enter a name for the route and optionally add internal or public notes.
  2. Schedule & Preview — Set the start date, start time, and duration. Choose a recurrence rule (one-time, daily, weekly, or monthly) and the desired weekdays or month days. A live calendar preview appears on the right.
  3. Control Points — Assign control points and arrange them in scan order via drag & drop. Set the frequency (expected scans per round).

Use a Template​

You can use an existing route as a template. To do so, select the "Copy" option in the property's route overview. All data is automatically copied and can be adjusted before saving.

Calendar Preview​

The calendar preview already shows all planned dates during creation in a monthly, weekly, or daily view — so you can verify the configuration before saving.

Good to Know​

:::tip Note

  • The route name must be unique per property.
  • Holidays and special dates of the property are automatically taken into account. Whether routes are paused or executed on holidays is configured in the property settings.
  • The start time may be at most 1 minute in the past. The duration must be between 1 minute and 24 hours.
  • After creation, round schedules are automatically generated for the next 5 days. :::
