Property Selection
In the property selection, you choose the property you want to work at. It opens automatically as soon as a feature needs a property — after login, you start directly on the dashboard. There is no fixed property binding: via the "All properties" entry, you work across properties. The active property is always shown in the dashboard header; tapping it opens the selection.

Features at a Glance
Property List
All properties you have access to are shown in a list — with name, address, and (with location permission) the distance. Use the search field to filter by name, street, postal code, or city. You choose the sorting yourself: "Nearest first" (default), A–Z, or Z–A; with name sorting, an alphabet index at the edge helps. The map button of a row opens the route to the property in your maps app.
With the Create properties permission, you can also create a new property directly in the app via the plus button (name, address, customer, map point, and geofence).
Automatic Detection ("Property Detected")
Above the search field, the app suggests the property you are currently at — detected via Bluetooth beacon, via GPS geofence, or by proximity to the property location (up to about 1 km). The suggestion is deliberately just a suggestion: the switch only happens when you tap it. Only on the dashboard does the app activate a detected property itself — and only when no property is selected at all.
QR/NFC Quick Selection
Via the scan icon, you can also select a property by QR code or NFC tag — handy when a checkpoint is mounted at the entrance. If you scan a tag of a different property, the app reacts depending on the situation: if the target property's data is on the device, the booking is recorded directly for that property without switching; otherwise the app switches you over ("Wrong property detected, switching you over."). Offline and without downloaded data, the switch is not possible — the app says so.
If your property uses beacons, the app also switches automatically: when the beacon of another property is detected (and no round is running), "Beacon detected — switching to …" appears and the property is changed.
Offline Availability
The property list is stored locally and is available without an internet connection. The most recently used properties (up to 15) are kept fully offline — including checkpoints, tasks, and documents; the active property and properties with an open shift or untransferred data are never evicted. Even switching to a property that has not been downloaded yet works offline in a limited way: time tracking works immediately, checkpoints and tasks load at the next online contact.
Good to Know
:::tip Note
- If you only have access to a single property, it is selected automatically at login and the property list is skipped.
- At app start: if an open shift is still running, the app starts in that shift's property; otherwise in the last selected property.
- Administrators can restrict a device to a single property via the app settings — the smartphone then only sees this property until an admin lifts the restriction in the portal. :::
