Shift Log — Now Under Target/Actual
The shift log — the cross-property table of all generated shifts with phase, status, and evaluation — has moved: it no longer has its own menu item and instead lives as the "Shifts" level in the menu item Time tracking → Target/Actual. Old links to the former menu item are redirected there automatically.
:::info Where do I find what?
- Time tracking → Target/Actual — the evaluation: every planned shift with staffing and fulfilment status; clicking opens the full view.
- Planning → Shifts — the planning: calendar and assignment list for creating, moving, and staffing.
- Planning → Duty roster — the weekly staffing matrix. :::
What the Target/Actual View Shows
Under Time tracking → Target/Actual you see every single shift generated from your shifts as a row — with time span, property, number of check-ins/check-outs, and current state. The rows are color-coded by phase (see Terminology). The view answers questions like "Which shifts were understaffed yesterday?" — for control, evidence, and quickly finding gaps.
| Element | Description |
|---|---|
| Filter row | Period, property, and shift configuration; status tabs (All / Occupied / Understaffed / Running) with counters |
| Status badges | SCHEDULED / ACTIVE / RUNNING / OCCUPIED / UNDERSTAFFED / COMPLETED |
| Check-ins/outs | Number of checked-in and checked-out employees — with a configured requirement as actual / target |
| Row click | Opens the full view of the shift with progress bar and event log |
:::info Prerequisite You need View time tracking to open the Target/Actual view. For manual check-in: Create time tracking. :::
Typical Flows
Analysing an Understaffed Shift
- Open Time tracking → Target/Actual and select the Understaffed tab
- Click the affected shift → full view
- Check the progress bar: in which phase was the check-in missing?
- If needed: manually check in the employee (with reason)
Checking Upcoming Assignments and Closing Gaps
For the future (unassigned or conflicting assignments of the coming days), the assignment list is the right view — it filters by "Conflicts only", "Understaffed only", and "Only unassigned orders" and opens every assignment directly for editing.
Export
The Target/Actual table itself offers no export — export shift and attendance data via the full view, the work times, or the attendance list (live).
