Settings (Property)
On this tab ("General"), you manage the property's master data, its restricted zones, its holidays and special dates, and archiving.
Navigation: Master Data → Properties → select a property → panel entry "Settings" (group "Administration")
Features
Property Information (Master Data)
You edit the name and customer directly here: each row carries a change button ("Change name" / customer select with search). The customer field only appears if your account has the customer package. Both can also be edited inline in the header of every property page.
Address & Geofence Area
The address row shows the current property address; "Edit address" opens the map wizard, where you adjust the address and the geofence area.
You set the location lock per module, where it takes effect — for time tracking in the "Verification" section under Time Tracking (Property), for rounds in the round configuration, and for incidents under Incidents & Forms.
Restricted Zones
The "Restricted zones" section lists the property's restricted zones — areas employees must not enter. "Add restricted zone" (or clicking a zone) opens the full-screen map editor: draw the area or adopt the property area, define the warning text shown on entering, and optionally set a dwell-time event. Time tracking zones (auto check-in, leave warning, auto check-out), in contrast, are managed under Time Tracking (Property). All details under Geofence Zones.
Holidays & Special Dates
Manage holidays and special dates in a table (name, date, notes) with a year filter, search, and a "Show past" toggle. These days are taken into account in round and shift planning. Besides manual creation (several days in one dialog), there are two shortcuts:
- Load public holidays — imports the public holidays matching the property's country and region.
- Import from another property — copies the special dates of an already maintained property.
Use the multi-select to delete several entries in one step.
Danger Zone: Archive Property
At the very bottom, you can archive the property or cancel the archiving. When archiving, you pick a start date (the next day at the earliest); rounds that have not started yet are deleted, and running rounds are ended on the day before archiving.
There is deliberately no deleting of properties in the portal — archived properties keep all their data and can be reactivated at any time.
Good to Know

- Address and geofence area are maintained in the map wizard; name and customer directly on this tab or in the header.
- The proof of life has its own panel entry: Proof of Life & Status (Property).
- The Digital Signature (an add-on for regulated industries, re-authentication per 21 CFR Part 11) also has its own panel entry in the "Administration" group — it only appears with the unlocked add-on. There you configure per property whether incident reports, forms and tasks demand a signature on submission or completion: Digital Signature.
- When creating a German property with a federal state, the holidays for the next 3 years are added automatically.
- Archiving can take effect at the earliest from the next day (not retroactively).
- The country code is detected automatically from the entered country name — even when it is typed in one of the 14 supported languages. :::
