What is LiteLog's guard tour system?
LiteLog is a digital guard tour system that allows security services to document their operations simply, on the go and without gaps.
Security guards use the app to:
- Run patrols (by scanning checkpoints)
- Create incident reports directly on site (with photos and description)
- Automatically track working hours
All data is automatically saved and available in the portal for evaluation.
How does LiteLog work in practice?
The system is based on a simple workflow:
- Install checkpoints at the property — NFC tags, QR codes, or Bluetooth beacons
- Guards scan these points during their patrol — each scan is confirmed and documented
- Incident reports are created directly in the app — including photos, timestamp and GPS position
- Shifts are started and ended via QR code
- All data flows into the portal — for reports, evaluations and client access
What is LiteLog used for?
With LiteLog you can:
- Plan patrols or run them freely
- Reliably verify checkpoints
- Document irregularities immediately
- Automatically track working hours
- Optional: Monitor attendance with presets and get automatically alerted on deviations (Attendance Control)
- Protect lone workers: if the regular check-in stays out, LiteLog escalates via pre-alarm and main alarm (Check-in Monitoring / Dead Man's Switch)
- See in real time who is on duty where, in the Attendance List (Live) and the force overview
- Model your own processes: custom forms in the form editor, custom automation rules and escalations
- Provide reports for clients

AI features in the guard tour system
LiteLog extends the guard tour system with AI features that take over the paperwork in guard duty. Three of them are particularly relevant for security services:
- Auto-classify incidents — When an incident report arrives as text or photo, the AI suggests a category, a severity and a short title. A photo turns into a cleanly filed incident report. Automation rules can react to the classification, for example an escalation on severity "critical".
- Hannah in the employee chat — Your guards ask the AI assistant Hannah questions directly in the LiteLog app chat, about how to use LiteLog and about approved property documents such as duty instructions. Hannah replies immediately, even at night when the control centre is unstaffed.
- Translate forms & reports — LiteLog automatically translates your form templates into each employee's app language and prepares reports linguistically for sending to clients. The originals are always kept.

Digital guardbook
Incidents, shift reports, and patrol records together form LiteLog's digital guardbook: you build your own guardbook form (e.g. a shift report or handover protocol with signature and mandatory photo) in the form editor, tie it to shift start and shift end, and your employees fill it in via the app — even offline. Submitted entries are immutable and can be exported as PDF or delivered automatically to clients.
